Pig Beach – Exuma, The Bahamas

Have you ever see pig at the beach?

Can you imagine how that would look like?

Dirty? Cool? Interesting?

Well, let me tell you about my Pig Beach experience.

I went to the Bahamas las year, and as always, I did a huge research a lot about the place. Where to visit, what to do and what to eat/drink.

The 1stthing that got my attention was this little uninhabited island or Cay, full of pigs!!!! WOW

I know right!!

Hahaha, I went deep on my research and I found out that those pigs were dropped by some sailors who were planning to came back to the island and eat the pigs, but it didn’t happen, so, the lucky pigs grow and made their way to survive.

Now days, they are an amazing attraction for the tourists and a “place to go” of you are a blogger or an Instagrammer.

Here are some pictures with me interacting with them!! I had so much fun and I can’t wait to come back.

Wow! What is that place? How did I never hear about this beach? Amazing! That is a very interesting story that sailors left those pigs there but I wonder how they just stayed in the water. I should really visit this place some day. :) - Esther Bae

The color of the ocean in The Bahamas is too beautiful to be true!! And it's my first time to hear a beach full of pigs!! We all have a stereotype of pig being dirty and stupid, your picture and article would somehow change that! Great job and please do keep posting something like this could change our stereotype, thanks!
