Swimming with sharks sounds super scary, right?
Well, that’s not what they are saying about the nurse sharks in the Bahamas.
There is a bunch of 300 pounds’ sharks in this particular beach called Compass Cay, they are feed and has no interested-on humans, that’s what they say!!!
I was there last fall and I had a blast.
Here are the tips the Locals gave me:
o Always pet their backs.
o Close your hands, like hold your fingers (in case the shark bite you by accident.
o Don’t feed them. People will trough food for them to make them get close to you for your pictures.
o Do not harass them
o Avoid the water if you are bleeding (it’s okay if you are in your period)
(again, those are tips that I got from the locals, I have no idea if those are correct, I just made sure I followed it and I was fine!)
My family and I had an amazing time with the sharks and we were able to take great pictures and nice videos.
